Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant to sell exterior and interior products and services. The role involves traveling to customer homes and industry events, with most time away from a traditional office.

You will assess customer needs, tailor product recommendations, present warranties and financing options, and complete sales paperwork while maintaining store relationships and educating staff on HDIS offerings.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Preferred in-home or virtual sales experience.
• Preferred home improvement industry experience.
• Preferred experience with lead generation.
• Computer and application skills and use of varied technology (email, iPad, apps, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer homes for outside sales visits and industry events.
• Present tailored product quotes, warranties and financing options to customers.
• Complete required sales contracts and paperwork and take measurements for installation specifications.
