Job summary

Nealon Insulation in Connecticut is seeking an In-Home Sales Consultant to evaluate homeowners’ insulation and home performance needs and present solutions that improve comfort and energy efficiency. This consultative, lead-driven role focuses on guiding families to the right insulation upgrades.

You’ll build relationships, develop clear estimates, and work with production and administrative teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience, preferably in home improvement, construction, HVAC, roofing, windows, or related industries.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and follow through on commitments.
• Comfortable conducting in-home consultations and discussing technical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Experience with insulation or home performance is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations and evaluate customers' insulation and home performance needs.
• Develop and present clear, professional estimates and proposals.
• Educate homeowners on recommended solutions, benefits, and available incentives.
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers and manage sales opportunities.
• Meet or exceed established sales and performance targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in our CRM.
• Coordinate with our production and administrative teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Represent Nealon Insulation with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
