Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech and language pathology is required.
• Previous experience working with families and children birth to age 3 is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of children birth to 3.
• Develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
• Provide early intervention services according to IFSPs.

Skills

Working knowledge of Early Childhood Development

Effective communication skills

Experience with multidisciplinary evaluation teams

Ability to work collaboratively

Knowledge of state and federal special education laws

Education

Master’s degree in speech and language pathology

Michigan teaching certificate with speech and language endorsement

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology
