Job summary

Young World Physical Education is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist to support early childhood students. This full-time position involves designing and delivering therapy tailored to student needs, conducting evaluations, and providing support for language development while ensuring inclusion in the learning environment.

The ideal candidate must hold a master’s degree and be licensed in Massachusetts. As part of a diverse school community, you will work collaboratively with staff and families to foster educational achievements for all students.

Qualifications

• Minimum of master's degree in speech/language therapy or related subject.
• Licensed as Speech/Language Pathologist by the American Speech and Language Hearing Association.
• Experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver speech/language therapy as outlined by student needs.
• Provide direct individual and/or group instruction to students.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide findings at team meetings.

Skills

Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Familiar with speech/language evaluation tools

Ability to deliver individual and group instruction

Communication skills with families/caregivers

Education

Master's degree in speech/language therapy

Licensed as Speech/Language Pathologist by ASHA

MA DESE license or ability to secure it
