Job summary

TheraCare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver Early Intervention services to children birth to age 3 in their natural environments. You will evaluate communication needs, support development of individualized plans, and collaborate with families and professionals to optimize outcomes.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CT licensure with ASHA CCCs, and travel to service locations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current CT state license and ASHA CCCs (CFY supervision available).
• Experience with early intervention or pediatrics preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel to service locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct early intervention services for children 0–3 in home and community settings.
• Develop and implement individualized family service plans (IFSP) with family and team.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document services in compliance with state and program requirements.
• Attend IFSP and teaming meetings to support outcomes.
• Provide caregiver coaching aligned with family priorities and IFSP outcomes.
