Job summary

TheraCare is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver early intervention services to children birth to age 3 in home and community settings in Bridgeport, CT. You will assess communication needs and develop individualized plans, collaborating with families and professionals.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CT licensure and ASHA CCCs (or CFY supervision). Prior EI or pediatrics experience is preferred, with travel to service locations and strong communication

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CT state license and ASHA CCCs (or CFY supervision) preferred.
• Experience with early intervention or pediatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct early intervention services for children 0–3 in home and community settings.
• Develop and implement individualized family service plans based on child and family outcomes.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Document services in accordance with state and program requirements.
• Attend IFSP and teaming meetings to support interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Provide caregiver coaching aligned with family priorities and IFSP outcomes.
