Job summary

Family Relief Resources LLC. is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist a nearly 20-year-old transgender client with cerebral palsy, scoliosis, and autism. The role focuses on daily living skills, budgeting, meal planning, and community activities to foster independence and self-confidence.

Flexibility in schedule; 3–4 hour shifts, part-time and full-time opportunities. Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable in a gender-affirming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a criminal history check.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Willing to provide transportation and accompany client to activities and appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with daily living skills and increasing independence in home and community.
• Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help with budgeting, money management, and informed spending decisions.
• Support independent living skills related to household management and routines.
• Organize and personalize the living space to reflect client’s interests.
• Encourage participation in community activities, hobbies, and outings.
• Engage in conversations about animation and other topics to build rapport.
• Provide mobility support as needed to promote independence.
• Document progress notes after each shift and quarterly progress reports.
