Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician in Charlotte, NC to deliver, set up, and retrieve durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and ensure safe operation while delivering strong customer service.

The role features a stable daytime schedule, on-call rotation with extra pay, and growth opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior experience required for this role.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license is required and essential for the role.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program is required to join the team.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs during daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use to patients.
• Deliver high-quality customer service and support for life-sustaining equipment needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle and maintain vehicle logs.
• Respond to urgent delivery requests and perform routine vehicle checks.
