Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Gibbsboro, NJ seeks a dependable Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one in-home and community support. The role emphasizes dignity, privacy, choice, and promoting independence, with hands-on personal care as needed.

Schedule includes Mon and Tue 9:00–2:00 and weekends 10:00–20:00; driving is required. You will assist with ADLs, accompany the client on community activities, document services, and follow care instructions during shifts.

Qualifications

• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care as required.
• Reliable, respectful, patient, and safety‑oriented.
• Able to follow detailed instructions and maintain professional boundaries.
• DSP/HHA/CNA or disability‑services experience preferred.
• Driving required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs, including hygiene and showering.
• Provide one-to-one supervision, companionship, and safety support.
• Offer community-based support and safe lifting/transfers when applicable.
• Accompany the individual on outings and support participation in activities.
• Support daily routines and encourage independence.
• Complete required service documentation and timekeeping accurately.
