Job summary

Kindly Direct Care in Hammonton, NJ is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support for a wheelchair‑bound adult with developmental disabilities at home and in the community.

You will encourage independence, help with routines, ensure safety, document services after visits, and communicate with the Kindly team. Driving is required; schedule includes Fri, Sat, Mon 9am-9pm with alternating 3:30pm-9pm shifts.

Qualifications

• Able to consistently commit to the exact posted schedule.
• Dependable, respectful, patient, and comfortable working one-to-one.
• Experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive.
• Able to complete onboarding, background checks, and training.

Responsibilities

• Support a low-functioning, wheelchair-bound adult at home and in the community.
• Encourage independence, social connection, and progress toward personal goals.
• Assist with routines and activities based on the individual’s needs.
• Maintain safety and follow individualized support instructions.
