Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking an In Home Designer / Sales Associate in Lake Charles to drive sales through expert product knowledge and outstanding customer service. You will conduct in-home consultations, space planning, furniture selection, ordering and installation coordination.

You will greet customers, assess needs, present solutions, build relationships, and work toward achieving monthly sales targets. The role requires flexible hours, strong communication, and a passion for design.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in furniture or retail environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven by financial incentives.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic knowledge of interior design principles is a plus.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and results driven In Home Designer/Sales Associate to join our team. As an In-Home Designer, you will be responsible for driving sales through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and effective communication. This exciting opportunity includes In-Home Consultations - Space Planning & Layouts - Furniture Selection & Souring - Ordering & Installation.
