Diamond Care Group is seeking a reliable Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will assist patients in improving functional independence and safety within their home environment.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Home health experience a plus and Medicare documentation knowledge is beneficial.
• Familiar with EHR such as Kinnser.

Responsabilidades

• Provide occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of the OT.
• Assist patients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Implement therapeutic exercises to improve strength, coordination and mobility.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies.
• Document patient visits per Medicare and home health guidelines.
• Communicate patient progress to the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.
