Job summary

Family Life care is seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide compassionate in-home care. You will support patients with daily living activities, meals, and monitoring health in clients' homes across the community.

Role emphasizes companionship, safety, and tailored care plans. Requirements include Florida CNA or 75-hour HHA, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and a negative TB test. Prior home health experience is welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications

Florida CNA license or 75-hour Home Health Aide Certificate from State-approved school.
Current CPR certification.
Driver's license and vehicle insurance.
TB test with negative results.
Experience in home health care preferred but not required.
Strong observational and communication skills.
Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning.
Compassionate demeanor and reliability.
Must be able to work independently following care plans.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
Monitor health status and report changes to healthcare providers.
Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities for well-being.
Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment with light housekeeping.
Provide memory care support for clients with cognitive impairments, ensuring safety.
