Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home support and personal care to adults and seniors. CNAs help with daily activities, promote comfort and independence, and work with a responsive care team to ensure quality one-on-one care.

The role offers full-time and part-time options with day, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts as applicable. Competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, ongoing supervision, and advancement paths are available.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA license required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform mobility and daily care tasks.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care needs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide mobility assistance and safe use of devices.
• Measure and document vital signs and observations.
• Support daily care tasks including housekeeping related to care.
• Assist with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support while promoting independence.
• Report concerns promptly to nursing staff.
• Identify safety risks and environmental concerns.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform only tasks within CNA scope and care plan.
