Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Cedar Bluff, VA is seeking a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate one-on-one care in patients' homes across Tazewell and surrounding areas. You will assist with daily living activities and work with the home health team to follow individualized care plans.

The role emphasizes flexible, part-time or PRN scheduling, with competitive pay and weekly pay based on experience, supporting Veterans and family members in their homes.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification and TB skin test are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home care for patients in a home setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support.
• Support meal preparation, hydration and nutritional intake.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
• Work alongside home health nurses to ensure patient care plans are followed.
• Observe patient condition and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
• Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and care team members.
