Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Tazewell, VA is seeking a compassionate Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care across Tazewell and surrounding areas.

You will assist patients with activities of daily living, support independence, and work with the home health team to follow individualized care plans. Flexible part-time / PRN scheduling and weekly pay are offered to accommodate caregivers.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR certification and TB skin test required
• Valid Virginia driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care for patients in a home setting
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and feeding
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mobility support
• Support meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional intake
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
• Work alongside home health nurses to ensure patient care plans are followed
• Observe patient condition and report changes or concerns to the supervising nurse
• Maintain accurate communication with patients, families, and care team members
