Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and adults, helping them live safely and comfortably at home. You will assist with daily living activities, offer companionship, and support transportation to appointments and outings.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Background Screening is required.
• Valid government-issued photo ID and a second form of identification.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.
• Compassionate, dependable and professional demeanor.
• Previous caregiving, HHA or CNA experience is preferred but not always required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs including bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers and meal prep.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversations and activities.
• Assist with transportation to appointments, errands and outings.
• Follow care plans and document services provided.
• Maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment.
• Communicate changes in client condition to the office promptly.
