Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors and adults with disabilities in the Jacksonville area. You’ll be trained to help with daily activities, monitor health, and support clients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
• State-approved CNA program completed.
• Current CPR certificate recommended.
• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating and dressing.
• Provide light housekeeping and meal preparation as directed.
• Follow nurse instructions for patient-specific tasks and care plans.
• Assist with ostomy appliances, dressings and devices for daily living.
• Take vital signs and monitor patient condition as trained.
