Right at Home North Jacksonville is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care and companionship for seniors and vulnerable adults. You will assist with daily living tasks, encourage independence, and follow care plans in clients' homes. A reliable vehicle, phone, and willingness to work weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience; entry-level candidates welcome.
• Background check clearance required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with mobility.
• Flexible availability including weekends and some evenings.
• Smartphone with service for clock-ins.
• Candidates in Yulee, Fernandina Beach or Amelia Island preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and hobbies.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and personal care (as needed).
• Help clients maintain their independence by assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming (if trained and certified).
• Monitor and report any changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to care managers.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, adhering to our organization's safety protocols and guidelines.
