Job summary

Midland Care Connection, Inc. is seeking a Community Aide (CNA) to provide in-home care to clients in Topeka, KS. The role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health conditions, and supporting independence in familiar home settings.

The position requires a Kansas CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to travel to clients’ homes. Previous exposure to home health or related services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Kansas required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Basic knowledge of infection control, safety, and patient rights.
• Ability to observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to travel to clients' homes.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to nurses or supervisors.
• Help with basic household tasks and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
