Job summary

Midland Care Community Aide (CNA) delivers hands-on in-home care to older adults and seriously ill clients in Topeka, KS. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor changes, and support safety and comfort in the home setting.

This PRN role includes flexible day shifts, riding to client homes, and documenting observations for nursing staff. Competitive pay with modest shift differentials and employee benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Kansas.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Basic knowledge of infection control, safety practices, and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living to support independence and safety.
• Observe, document, and report changes in a client’s condition to nurses or supervisors.
• Provide basic household tasks, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients in their own homes.
