Job summary

Midland Care Connection, Inc. is hiring a Community Aide (CNA) to provide essential in-home care for older adults and seriously ill individuals in the Topeka area. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for growth and training.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor client health, and report changes to nursing staff while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in clients’ homes. Prior CNA certification and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Kansas CNA certification and be able to provide hands-on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
• Experience with infection control, safety practices and patient rights.
• Ability to observe, document and report changes to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Compassionate, respectful and patient-centered approach with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to clients in their homes to help them stay safe, healthy and independent.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide companionship.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to nurses or supervisors; follow care plans.
