Job summary

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network in Lowell is hiring an In-Home Clinician to provide counseling to youth and families in a community-based setting, with a flexible and independent schedule.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, navigate systems for resources, and help caregivers develop skills to support behavioral health needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling or related field.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to navigate systems and provide trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and family counseling using trauma-informed and culturally responsive interventions for youth and their families.
• Assist caregivers in navigating systems to promote resources and access to supports.
• Empower caregivers with skills and strategies to support their youth's behavioral health needs.
• Create care plans and interventions to support skill-based growth for clients.
• Promote and strengthen family's natural supports to foster a welcoming and supportive community for the youth.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with the youth, parents, and other providers to ensure close collaboration and coordination of care.
• Ensure that client's rights are respected, particularly in regard to cultural competency.
• Collaborate with other community-based organizations to provide services and care for clients.

In-Home Clinician

Community Based - Lowell

Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling or related field.
