Job summary

Wayside Youth and Family Support Network Milford site seeks a driven Clinical Supervisor for the In Home Based Therapeutic Care (IHBTC) program serving children, adolescents, and families. Will oversee program operations, supervise staff and interns, and ensure high quality therapeutic care aligned with Wayside’s mission.

The role requires an independent license, MSW or related field, and significant supervisory and direct service experience.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum three years of direct service with children, adolescents, and families.
  • Current MA driver’s license and reliable car.

Responsibilities

  • Provide weekly supervision to Clinicians, Outreach staff, Family Partner, Occupational Therapist, Young Adult Peer Mentor, Interns, and other program staff
  • Participate in In Home Based Therapeutic Care family team meetings
  • Complete annual performance evaluations for supervisees
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans/Individualized Action Plans
  • Coordinate training program for staff
  • Provide face to face emergency coverage to clients when on call and back-up to clinicians who are on-call
  • Provide advocacy and care coordination with collaterals as necessary and as requested by families
  • Attend all necessary collateral meetings as required
  • Participate in in-service trainings and ongoing educational opportunities as required by professional licensing bodies
  • Participate in Program Quality Management and Utilization Review
  • Review and approve clinical documentation ensuring compliance with Rehab Options requirements
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients, including in-home individual, couple, and family therapy, behavior management and crisis intervention
  • Participate in site-wide and agency-wide initiatives to improve clinical quality
  • Assist in developing continuity of service between Wayside and collateral providers
  • Perform other functions as assigned by the Program Director

Clinical Supervisor – IHBTC

Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

This is a clinical position and due to contract obligations requires an independent license (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).

Wayside Youth and Family Support Network's Milford site is seeking a driven, innovative, strengths-based Clinical Supervisor to be a part of the In Home Based Therapeutic Care (IHBTC) Program serving our Westboro, South County and Canton catchment. The IHBTC program is an intensive, community-based program serving children, adolescents, and families referred by the Department of Mental Health. In this fast-paced program, the Clinical Supervisor will assist the Program Director in overseeing all aspects of the program. The Clinical Supervisor will provide clinical supervision to program staff and interns, as well as providing direct care as needed. The Clinical Supervisor is an individual with established experience in navigating behavioral health systems and leading supervisees in expanding their therapeutic skills and interventions. The Clinical Supervisor will team with the Program Director to assure the program is providing high quality therapeutic care that is individualized, culturally responsive, and aligned with Wayside’s mission and values.

What you will do:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another related human services field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in direct service with children, adolescents, and families
  • Current valid MA driver’s license and reliable car
