Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in Calvert County MD and nearby areas. You will help with daily activities, mobility, meals, and companionship in clients’ homes, with comprehensive training and ongoing support.

Competitive hourly pay ($17.00–$18.75) with benefits including medical/dental/vision plans, 401(k), PTO, and weekly pay. A valid driver's license and English communication are required to serve local families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of proven caregiver experience (home health aide/nursing assistant) preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift).
• Assist with transferring/moving clients.
• Support daily living activities.
• Support range-of-motion exercises and physical care needs.
• Help with special dietary needs and meal preparation.
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments.
• Medication reminders.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Perform housekeeping activities.
