Right at Home in Shady Side, MD is seeking dedicated CNAs to provide meaningful one-on-one home care for clients in Shady Side and nearby communities. You’ll support daily living activities, mobility, and companionship while delivering safe, respectful in-home care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of proven caregiver experience (caregiver, PCA, home health aide, nursing assistant).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
• Ability to speak and understand English as needed for the job.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift).
• Assist with transferring/moving clients.
• Lift/move up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Support daily living activities and personal care.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with meal preparation and diet needs.
• Perform light housekeeping and errand accompaniment.
• Monitor and remind for medications.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence at home.

What You’ll Do

As a valued caregiver, you’ll provide essential support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home, including:

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift)

• Support range-of-motion exercises, and physical care needs
