Right at Home in Charles County, MD, is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care to clients in La Plata and Waldorf, with immediate opportunities nearby.

You’ll earn $17.00 to $19.00 per hour based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision plans, 401(k), PTO, training, weekly pay, PPE, and 24/7 office support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of proven caregiving experience (Caregiver, PCA, Nursing Assistant).
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license and own transportation; able to communicate in English as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift).
• Assist with transferring/moving clients and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Support daily living activities and promote comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Meal preparation and special diet support.
• Medication reminders and companionship.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Accompany clients to errands or appointments.

What You’ll Do

As a valued caregiver, you’ll provide essential support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home, including:

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift)

• Lift/move 50 lbs. without assistance

• Support daily living activities

• Light assistance that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence

• Support range-of-motion exercises, and physical care needs

• Meal preparation and special diet support

• Provide compassionate companionship, conversation and emotional support

Qualifications and Skills
