Job summary

Right at Home Anne Arundel is hiring experienced caregivers to provide meaningful in-home support for clients in Charles County, MD. You’ll assist with mobility, daily living activities, meals, and companionship to help clients live safely at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of caregiver/home health aide experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to speak and understand English as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility devices and transfers.
• Provide daily living activities and meals.
• Support range-of-motion exercises and personal care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Medication reminders.

Responsibilities

As a valued caregiver, you’ll provide essential support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home:

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift)

• Assist with transferring/moving clients

• Support daily living activities

• Support range-of-motion exercises, and physical care needs

• Help with special dietary need and meal preparation

• Accompany clients on errands or appointments

• Medication reminders

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support

• Performing housekeeping activities

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED

• 1 year of proven experience as caregiver, home health aid, nursing assistant

• CPR and First Aid certification

• Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation

• Ability to speak and understand English as needed for the job
