Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a Home Care Worker to provide non-medical personal care within our retirement community. You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and escorting them to appointments and social events.

This per diem/flex role requires daytime and evening shifts with two weekends per month and at least one weekday weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a caregiver serving seniors preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic provider strongly desired.
• Must be comfortable with intimate care for all genders.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (non-medical) and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with routine housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, pet walking, closet organization, and kitchen chores.
• Escort residents to appointments and social activities.
• Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships.
• Notify office promptly of any changes in a resident’s condition.
• Adhere to all department policies, procedures, and care standards.
• Maintain competency in required job skills and knowledge.

Job Description

Join our team as a Home Care Worker and do what you love—without the travel! Our clients are all within our gated retirement community. As a caregiver, you’ll provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, handle housekeeping and meal preparation, and escort residents to appointments and social events.

Schedule: This is a per diem / flex role. We have days and evenings open. Two weekends are required a month (Saturday and Sunday) along with at least one weekday each week.

How you will make an impact

Compensation : $19.50-$23.00/hour (depending on experience and license)
