Job summary

Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is hiring Home Care Caregivers to assist West Bend and surrounding communities. You'll provide compassionate, one-on-one care to help seniors stay safe, comfortable and independent in their homes, with flexible day, evening and overnight shifts and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess compassion, dependability, and a professional attitude.
• Paid training provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Offer medication reminders
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers
• Support individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and other age-related conditions
• Promote safety, dignity and independence
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families

What You'll Do

As a Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, one-on-one support that enhances each client's quality of life while promoting safety, independence, and dignity.

• Assist with personal care and activities of daily living

• Offer medication reminders

• Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license required
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required
• Paid training provided for qualified candidates
