Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care in the Tarentum area. The role focuses on dementia clients, with a steady weekday morning schedule starting at 8:00 AM, and requires reliable transportation.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, companionship, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and accompanying clients to appointments. Applicants should have 3–6 months of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, and be at least 18.

Qualifications

• At least 3–6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Negative TB test results (TB Test or QuantiFERON Gold) required
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, or nursing assistance is a plus.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands

• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times
