Job summary

Senior Helpers in Shelocta, PA is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist our client with personal and companion care. Shifts are available on weekdays for morning coverage (8:00 AM). You will support daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accompany clients to appointments.

We value reliability and empathy; a valid driver’s license and TB test are required. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months of caregiving experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must be 18 years or older (required).
• TB test result, 2-step TB or Quantiferon Gold, negative required.
• Healthcare/home care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, toileting, bathing, and mobility support.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events.
• Monitor clients' well‑being and report concerns to supervisor.

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to assist our client in Shelocta, PA. This role includes both personal care and companion care, with shifts available on weekdays for morning shifts (8:00 AM).

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing/grooming, toileting/incontinence care, bathing, and mobility support
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands
• Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events
• Monitor clients' overall well-being and report any concerns
• Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times

Qualifications

• At least 3-6 months of professional or personal experience in home care, caregiving, or related field (Required)
• Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation (Required)
• Must be at least 18 years old (Required)
• Negative results of either a 2-Step TB Test or TB Quantiferon Gold Blood Test (Required)
• Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus.
