Job summary

Village Caregiving seeks an in-home caregiver in Ashland, WI for a part-time, hourly position. You will work independently to support clients at home with daily living tasks, companionship, and transportation.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and accurate care documentation. A valid license, background check, and reliable transport are required; training is provided and ongoing support is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including personal hygiene/bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report changes in client's behavior or condition to the supervisor.
• Utilize electronic timekeeping software to clock in/out and submit documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
