Job summary

Village Caregiving seeks an in-home caregiver to provide essential care and support to clients in the Ashland, WI area. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare role where you work independently in clients' homes, delivering companionship and assistance with daily living activities.

You will perform personal care tasks, help with meal prep and light housekeeping, document care activities, and communicate with clients and family members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and provide in-home care.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care including personal hygiene, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report changes in client’s behavior or condition to supervisor.
• Use electronic timekeeping to clock in/out and submit documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
