Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide essential care and support in the Duluth, MN and Superior, WI area. This part-time, hourly role allows you to work independently in clients' homes, offering companionship and assistance with daily activities.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, documentation, and effective communication with clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Clear background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic attitude.
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of personal care, hygiene, and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and support, including personal hygiene, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report changes in client's behavior or condition to supervisor.
• Utilize electronic timekeeping to clock in/out and submit documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
