Job summary

Village Caregiving seeks an in-home caregiver to provide essential care and support to clients in the Ashland, WI area. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare role where you work independently in clients' homes, delivering companionship and assistance with daily living activities.

You will perform personal care tasks, help with meal prep and light housekeeping, document care activities, and communicate with clients and family members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work independently and provide in-home care.
• Caregiving experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care including personal hygiene, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report changes in client’s behavior or condition to supervisor.
• Use electronic timekeeping to clock in/out and submit documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Village Caregiving is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide essential care and support to individuals in need in the Ashland, WIarea. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare position where the caregiver will work independently to assist clients in their homes. The individual in this role will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they care for, providing companionship and assistance with activities of daily living.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage based on experience, paid on a semi-monthly basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including but not limited to assistance with personal hygiene/bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report any changes in client's behavior or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Utilize electronic timekeeping software to accurately clock in/out of shifts and submit necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
