Job summary

24 Hour Home Care is seeking compassionate Special Needs Caregivers in South Gate, CA to provide in-home support to children, teens, and adults with I/DDs. You follow individual care plans and share progress updates with the care team.

Pay ranges from $16.90 to $20 per hour, depending on assignment and location. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, a 401(k), EAP, and opportunities for growth within a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Must have reliability and punctuality.
• Willingness to travel to different cities.
• Two references – at least one reference must confirm disability-related experience.
• Proof of a negative TB test is required per regulations; full cost covered for eligible candidates.
• CPR and First Aid certification – reimbursement available.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care to children, teens, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs).
• Follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team.
• Services may include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping (non-medical).
