Job summary

Delora Care, a Helping Hearts Company, is seeking an experienced caregiver to support an adult client at home in the Bellevue Nashville area. This role requires someone who is mature, dependable, and safety-focused, with strong fall prevention and mobility assistance skills.

Shower standby help, gait belt transfers, light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands are part of the duties. Schedule is afternoons, about 3 hours daily, 7 days a week, with various time windows.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience in home settings with high fall risk clients.
• Experience with gait belt transfers and walker assistance.
• Strong fall prevention and safety awareness.
• Reliable transportation and clean background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide nonmedical personal care and mobility support as per the care plan.
• Assist with safe ambulation, transfers, and walker use.
• Standby shower assistance and bathroom safety monitoring.
• Light housekeeping, meal preparation, errands, and laundry.
• Travel in caregiver's vehicle with client as needed.
