Job summary

Delora Care in Nashville seeks an experienced caregiver for a private home assignment in Bellevue. The position focuses on safety, fall prevention, and independent daily support for an adult client recovering at home.

Shifts are 7 days per week for about 3 hours in the afternoon (1–4, 2–5, or 3–6). The caregiver will assist with ambulation, transfers using a gait belt, standby shower help, light housekeeping, meals, errands, and pet care, while maintaining a clean, safe environment per the care

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience with high fall risk clients.
• Able to perform gait belt transfers and walker assistance.
• Comfortable with stand-by shower assistance and mobility support.
• Light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and basic pet care.
• Must meet background, Sex Offender Registry, and Abuse Registry screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe ambulation and transfers using a gait belt.
• Provide standby shower assistance and bathroom safety.
• Prepare dinner and light housekeeping; laundry and linens.
• Run errands, groceries, and transport client as needed.
• Maintain clean walking paths and monitor fall hazards.
