Job summary

Griswold Home Care in Ocean County, New Jersey is actively seeking Caregivers, CHHAs, and CNAs for part-time and full-time positions with hourly pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00. Staff may access CHHA training opportunities and enjoy ongoing professional development.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to serve clients at home. Responsibilities include personal care, mobility assistance, meal support, light housekeeping, and companionship, all while maintaining

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous caregiving experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable transportation.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist with mobility and transfers.
Monitor clients' care and report any changes or concerns to the care team.
Help prepare meals and assist with feeding, if necessary.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship.
Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with the care team.
Adhere to all policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to caregiving and client care.
