Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and disabled adults in North Central Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Qualifications

• Verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment.
• Dependability and reliability in performing duties.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to insured transportation.
• Effective communication with office staff on a regular basis.
• Willingness to follow all company policies and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
• Assists with hygiene, ambulation, dressing, grooming, feeding.
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, games, conversation).
• Assists with prescribed range of motion exercises as taught by a nurse.
• Meal preparation following instructions and household chores as needed.
