Job summary

Right at Home Long Beach seeks Caregivers and Home Health Aids to provide in-home care in Long Beach, CA. Immediate part-time positions available with flexible scheduling and paid training. You will help clients stay comfortable at home, promoting independence and well‑being.

Earn $18.50–$21 per hour with mileage reimbursement and 24/7 office support. Must be registered as a California Home Care Aide; TB test, LiveScan and driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Registered as a California Home Care Aide.
• Current TB test.
• State and Federal LiveScan (Fingerprinting).
• CPR certification recommended.
• Meets requirements for direct patient care.
• English fluency as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility in the client’s home.
• Perform household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishes and meal prep as instructed.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands when needed.
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming and medication reminders as directed.
• Provide companionship through conversation, reading, music or activities.
• Follow care plans and document changes in client condition.
• Maintain a safe and respectful home environment.
