Job summary

Right at Home Long Beach is hiring Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join a dynamic in-home care team. Immediate part-time and full-time positions available, offering the chance to help clients stay at home with compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
• Registered as a California Home Care Aide.
• Current TB Test and LiveScan/fingerprinting compliance.
• CPR certification recommended; ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including transferring/moving the client around the home.
• Perform light housekeeping: vacuuming, dusting, laundry, dishes, bed linens and bathroom cleaning.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions; accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility; provide medication reminders as needed.
• Offer dementia care, companionship activities and engage client with reading, music, puzzles.
