Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides, or CNAs to provide in-home care for clients in Indiana. Staff deliver essential daily living support while ensuring safety and dignity in the home.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, bathing assistance, meals, light housekeeping, documentation, and companionship. We value empathy, reliability, and adherence to care plans in a client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry as needed.
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure client safety
• Report significant changes in the client's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with client feeding when required
• Monitor and record client temperature
• Assist client's with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
