Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is hiring compassionate CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs to deliver in-home care in Indiana, promoting safety, independence, and dignity. Paid training is provided for those not yet certified, with competitive weekly pay and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication reminders, safety monitoring, light meals, mobility support, and thorough care documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document care.
• Training provided per State and Federal laws.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Preferred: TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes to supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding
• Monitor and record temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct ROM and simple activities
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy and infection control policies
• Bathing assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Provide companion services such as letter-writing and reading
