Altra Homecare of South Bend is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our team as Personal Care Assistants, Home Health Aides, or Certified Nursing Assistants. You will provide essential in-home care tailored to each client’s needs, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care.
• Compliance with state and federal training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with client laundry and light meals.
• Provide medication reminders and monitor safety.
• Report changes to supervisor.
• Assist with ambulation and ROM exercises.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Offer bathing assistance and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and reading/writing support.
