Job summary

Flatirons FlexCare for Seniors in Brighton, CO is seeking a compassionate Non-Medical Caregiver to support seniors in their homes, helping maintain independence, safety and quality of life.

You will follow individualized care plans, assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, mobility support, errands, meal prep, hydration reminders and provide companionship to help clients stay engaged and safe at home.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation required; a personal vehicle is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Colorado background checks (CBI and CAPS).
• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills, dependability, and a caring attitude.

Responsibilities

• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including showering, dressing, toileting, grooming, and nail care for non-diabetic clients.
• Light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and tidying kitchens and bathrooms.
• Mobility assistance including walking, transfers, fall prevention, and general safety.
• Shopping and errands support, including grocery and medication pickups.
• Meal preparation and hydration reminders as needed.
• Emotional support and companionship to encourage engagement in activities.
