Job summary

Village Caregiving is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors and veterans in Ironwood, MI. No prior experience required; paid training and CPR certification provided. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for raises make this a rewarding entry into home care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR certification preferred; can be obtained through our training process.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Provide mobility and walking assistance inside and outside the home.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other tasks.
• Assist with shopping and transportation to appointments.
• Support clients with physical therapy exercises and activities.
• Communicate care needs with clients, families, and office staff.
• Keep accurate records of hours worked and services provided.
• Report any changes or concerns to office staff.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations.
