Job summary

Haven Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist older adults in their homes across Summit County, Ohio. You will help with baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning, and companionship, while staying active and on your feet.

You will not perform medical tasks; nurses handle those duties. We offer clear pay scales by credential: STNA up to $18/hour, HHA certificate $16–$18/hour, and a free 32-hour training path for newcomers.

Qualifications

• STNA license active or expired: $18/hour (qualifies you)
• HHA certificate (30+ hours, RN-signed unless online): $16–$18/hour
• Experience — 1+ year at one company under an RN or LPN: $16–$18/hour
• No experience — free 32-hour training (6 days, not paid): $16/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living tasks: baths, dressing, meals, light cleaning and errands.
• Provide companionship and mobility support; help clients stay independent.
• No medical tasks are performed; nursing staff handle medical care.
• Travel between clients within Summit County; driving time between visits is paid.
