Job summary

Right at Home Long Beach is looking for Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join our in-home care team across South Gate, Downey, Lynwood, Compton, and Paramount. Immediate part-time and full-time positions are available to help clients stay safely at home.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Registered as a California Home Care Aide.
• Current TB test.
• State and Federal LiveScan (Fingerprinting).
• CPR certification recommended.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and dishes.
• Prepare meals and snacks following instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities.
• Support with mobility, range of motion exercises, and dementia care.
